We sat down with Ryan to learn more about what drew him to the childcare and family entertainment space.

1. Thanks for sitting down with us today. To start us off, can you tell us about your professional background?

I’m the CEO, “Chief Excitement Officer,” of Momentum Enterprises, an asset management company backed by Arena Capital focused on community, families, fitness and fun. We currently operate 17 businesses across New England and New York, including franchise locations of My Gym Children’s Fitness Center, Launch Entertainment Park, Club Elevate, and The Newport Venture – a Newport, Rhode Island real estate company.

2. How long have you been a Launch Entertainment franchisee and which locations do you own?

I started with Launch in 2018 and opened my first location in March 2019. We now operate four locations throughout Massachusetts in Framingham, Norwood, Westborough and Woburn.

3. As a multi-unit investor, what led you down the path of child and family entertainment?

Our mission at Momentum is to create an atmosphere of optimism, and it’s the driving force behind all the brands we invest in. Each concept we invest in is community-centered with a big focus on family and fun.

4. What made you decide to become a Launch franchisee? And how does Launch fit well into your portfolio of other concepts?

I first heard about Launch because my children visited a location. I was looking for a new business opportunity and after meeting with the corporate team, saw that their values seamlessly aligned with ours.

Since I’ve been with the brand, the concept is leading the industry with a fresh and innovative attraction mix. It’s no longer just a trampoline park and continues to evolve with hot attractions like VR, laser tag and Ninja Fun Course to keep on the cutting age of the entertainment space.

5. How does investing in family, and child concepts benefit a strong business model? Tell us about the success you’ve seen.

Once you get up and operating, the concept runs itself and can be very profitable. Since we own multiple Launch locations, we are able to share resources, and the corporate team is very involved and committed to your success. To learn more about multi-unit opportunities and open territories, fill out our inquiry form and our team will be in touch.
